Brenda is a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in all levels of Mat and Reformer. She is also STOTT PILATES® trained in Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel. She enjoys teaching small groups as well as individual clients. Her teaching is based on the Five Basic Principles of STOTT PILATES®. Brenda programs her workouts to build core strength & stability, improve balance & coordination, increase body awareness, and increase self-confidence with better posture. She is very gentle with the body but knows how to add power to any Athlete. Her love for functional weight training, spinning, squash, yoga, and running gives her an eye for athletic training. Performance enhancement in the United States often overlooks two extremely important fundamental aspects of the human body which Brenda can help you with: flexibility and mobility. She will help you meet your goals and to feel better.



Stephanie Kafonek

Stephanie Kafonek, M.D.

Owner & Operator

Stephanie Kafonek, M.D. is a STOTT PILATES® Fully Certified Instructor. She is certified to teach on all pieces of equipment (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair & Barrels), and at all levels (Essential, Intermediate and Advanced). She teaches Restorative Classes and Athletic Conditioning Classes.

She is certified in Injuries & Special Populations and is trained to modify exercises for post-rehabilitation. Clients come to her with osteoporosis, degenerative spinal conditions (low back pain), spinal stenosis, hip & knee replacements and general debilitation from chronic immunologic conditions and cancer recovery. Stephanie has clients ranging in age from 10 years to 90 years. She works to improve function in every day activities and relieve stiffness, aches and pains from the stress on the body of modern day living.

Stephanie is an avid golfer and uses Pilates to improve flexibility and core strength. She works with athletes engaged in a variety of sports to lengthen and strengthen opposing muscle groups and prevent injuries.
